The Chance Vought F4U Corsair was an American fighter aircraft that saw service primarily in World War II and the Korean War. The U.S. Navy received its first production F4U-1 on 31 July 1942. Kit features surface detail, well-appointed cockpit, fully detailed R-2800 Double Wasp radial engine, 1-piece cowling and 1-piece cowling ring, detailed aft fuselage, detailed wheel bays and optional undercarriage, choice of extended or folded wings, separately molded control surfaces, segmented canopy, 1-piece 3-blade propeller with separate spinner, wing machine guns with ammo and (x2) ammo cases.
